Welcome!

Thank you for your interest in Subiaco Abbey & Academy! We are excited for you to browse our website and learn about the monks and the special ministries that thrive here!

I consider it a true blessing to be in the position of Procurator for Subiaco Abbey and Academy. The Procurator (also known as the Cellarer in the Rule of St. Benedict) is appointed by the Abbot with responsibility for all the goods of the monastery to ensure the mission and ministry of the Abbey are fulfilled. It is an amazing thing to wake up each day knowing that I will be a part in that day’s work at the monastery and the Academy. Working together with the monks, lay staff and our many friends and benefactors brings a realization of the powerful presence of God in all that we do.

The foundation of this community is faith and partnership; working together to build an environment that is pleasing to God. The monks of Subiaco provide this foundation as they live out their lives in service to God according to the Rule of St. Benedict. We invite you to visit. Listed below are just a few of the ways in which God may be calling you to partner with us in this amazing place called Subiaco.

Please feel free to contact us at gconstantino@subi.org or call me directly at 479-934-1026 (office) or 479-438-2653 (cell).

May the peace of God be with you.

Planned Giving

Some people feel called by God to leave a gift after their death to continue the good works they did while alive. Giving to a monastery and its mission also allows one to know of the constant prayers by the monks.
