Abbot Elijah and the monastic community of Subiaco Abbey announced the death of Brother James Lindsey OSB. Brother James died peacefully on April 21, 2026. At the time of his death, Brother James was 76 years old. He had been a professed monk for 44 years. A Vigil Wake Service with Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 23, 2026, and a Conventual Mass of Christian Burial with Internment in the Abbey cemetery will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026, at 10:00 AM.
